12. Plugin Telemetry (WooTrack for WooCommerce)

When you use the WooTrack WooCommerce plugin, WooTrack may process limited technical and usage telemetry to operate the service, validate licenses, detect abuse, provide support, and improve reliability.

Data sent:

• Site/license identity: license_key, site, site_host, install_id.
• Technical versions: plugin_version, wp_version, wc_version, php_version, timestamp.
• WooCommerce currency: store_currency, currency_symbol.
• Feature status:
  • Google Ads: valid license, connection status, conversion configured.
  • Product labeling: active/inactive, preset, label counts.
  • Merchant feed: active/inactive, auto discount, feed status, file size, last modified, public URL.
  • COGS: meta key, VAT rate, whether COGS includes VAT, fallback margin.
  • Shipping costs: number of methods, fixed cost, percentage cost.
  • Custom labels: label keys.
  • Campaign management: up to 25 campaigns with id, name, status, impressions_7d, cost_7d, profit_7d, poas_7d, wt_tracked.
• Store metrics:
  • Last 30 days: orders, sales, cogs, profit.
  • Yesterday: date, orders, sales, cogs, profit, ads_spend.
• Order snapshot:
  • Latest 1000 paid orders.
  • Per order: order_id, date, order_number, product_value, cogs, profit, google_ads_sent.
• Order histogram:
  • version, generated_at, counts by_month, counts by_day, source.
• Telemetry meta:
  • orders_limit = 1000.
  • orders_max = 1000.
  • orders_batch_size = 100.
  • plugin_version.
  • During batch sync: batch_send, batch_page, batch_total_pages.

Not explicitly sent: customer name, customer email, phone number, billing/shipping address, order notes, or card/payment card data.

WooTrack plugin telemetry does not include customer personal data, order-level personal identifiers, or payment card data.

Telemetry is typically sent at most once per hour during admin usage, and may also be sent when key integration settings are changed.

Processing is based on legitimate interest for service security, licensing enforcement, support, fraud prevention, and product improvement.

Telemetry data is retained only for as long as necessary for the purposes above and in accordance with applicable legal obligations.
